I’m on my free trial of SC and absolutely love it. I haven’t started trading live yet on any platform, still in the learning phase. My question is, if I fund a brokerage account at Amp but do not get realtime data, could I still use Replay mode for ES? If not, could I but historical data, if it’s cheaper, and use Replay with ES?

Thanks

Of course, replay mode is general platform feature for every user, no matter which service and data feed you use.

Thanks jeden! Right now in the free trial I get 20 minute delayed data, would I get that also or is it one and the same?

So it seems I can fund an account at Amp and use it like I am currently without any cost whatsoever?

Thanks again

You don't have to create an account with futures broker if you don't need real time data for the moment, service package 5 ($36/month) includes historical data delayed by 10min:
Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Packages

Once you want to move to real time data you need to create trading account with associated SC brokers, pay for data depending on your needs and sign some paperwork and you are sorted.

Refer to SC instructions:
Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#SetupInstructions

As you are new to Sierra Chart I recommend you to dig all support board and documentation on your own, better and quicker than waiting for someone to answer here.

Why pay $36 a month when I can fund an account for $100 and get SC free?

My questions involved a broker which is why I didn’t think it would be in SC documentation.

Here's one SC team answer saying they can't support this case because it is in AMP scope of interest.
AMP DATA PACKAGE 3

For the future- this section is only for communication between users, no Sierra Chart Team answer to be found here.

I know this section is for users, which is why I posted it here and not the SC support page. I wasn’t expecting SC support to answer, I though maybe another user has had experience with this.
