You don't have to create an account with futures broker if you don't need real time data for the moment, service package 5 ($36/month) includes historical data delayed by 10min: Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Packages Once you want to move to real time data you need to create trading account with associated SC brokers, pay for data depending on your needs and sign some paperwork and you are sorted.
