Switching from AMP with CQG data to Denali

Hello....please forgive the long message. I have 2 accounts at AMP using CQG with the free version of SC. I have 2 instances of SC running...one acct on 1 computer and the 2nd acct on the 2nd computer. I can only see one acct on each computer. ie the drop down box doesn't show both accts. My preference would be to be able to be able to switch accts on each computer. My cost right is is $11/mo each. In your opinion, what is my best option to switch to Denali in order to have access to historical data? What would my total cost be? I only need CME. Thanks, John |

If you switch to the Denali Exchange Data Feed and not make any changes to your setup, then the cost for the Denali Exchange Data Feed would be $25.00 USD per month + 2 * Exchange Fees. It's hard for us to say what the exchange fee will be without additional information, but the item of note is that you will need to pay twice for the exchange fee since you would be getting the data on two different computers at the same time. Refer to the information here for the Denali Exchange Data Feed: Denali Exchange Data Feed And specifically here for information on multiple connections: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Connections --------------------- If you change your setup as you suggest, to just have one installation and have the 2 accounts accessible from that one installation (as long as both accounts are under the same login information, they should be accessible), then you would just have the $25.00 USD per month + 1 * Exchange Fee. In this case, you would pay for just 1 exchange fee since you are accessing the data from just 1 computer. Thanks for your very prompt reply. I"m just a tiny bit confused on the "switch from CQG to the SC Order Routing Service. My understanding is that if I do that....my TOTAL monthly fees to utilize 2 computers would be $20 + 2 CME exchange fees? Or is there another fee in addition to the $20? I'm confused between the Denali exchange fees and SC Order Routing Service fees. Thanks again! |

Sorry. We did not mean to confuse you. The Sierra Chart Order Routing Service is another option available to you. Often people use the term Denali when they are really referencing the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service, hence we wanted to give you that information in case you were interested. It is not a requirement at all. But, we do give a discount on the Data Feed pricing if you do use that service. It is not required in order to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed, it is just an incentive. Therefore, you do have it correct, that if you were to use the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service, your cost for the data feed for 2 computers each running their own version of Sierra Chart would be $20.00 + 2 Exchange Fees. Just for completeness, there are no other fees for the Data Feed, but the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service does have a $0.10 per side charge for the order routing. This should be very close to what you are already paying. Hello, could you please read the above thread and tell me if the cost per month using 2 computers will now increase to based on my not being able to use the "Free" SC AMP Futures option? Sierra Chart / Trading Technologies Futures Order Routing Service You will need to switch brokers to another supported broker. They are all mentioned on that page. You only need one Sierra Chart account since you can use that on two computers at the same time and you can add additional computers, through the Activate Services page for 12 USD per month more. Standard Sierra Chart plus Denali Exchange Data Feed (Service Package 10) Price: (36 USD/month)or 11 usd? Exchange fees are still an extra cost. hello, i can't get an answer that i will understand about the monthly cost of live data. so i ask: broker amp subsidized sc platform and I paid 11 usd non pro per month a lot of time only cme and that cqg data, is there a way for me to keep the $ 11 per month cost or will I be forced to shut down the siera chart trading after a long 8 years..because simply I can't pay $ 36 a month because I have a small account..and as far as I read per support board most small retailers are disappointed because the fixed costs climb almost x3 and many will have to close accounts like me .thanks |

Your fees would be $36.00 USD per month plus the cost of the exchanges. Yes, AMP was subsidizing the cost for a long time, but that created a lot of complexity that built up over the years. I was automatically charged 26 usd from the sierra chart account, it's not my decision. why is it done? I turned off the cme service at the broker and did not activate the package because I do not want to pay 36 usd, I paid 100 uds to the sierrachart account because I thought that non pro traders would be $ 11 cost per month..amp financed the platform for me..so please you to turn off my automatic payment 26 usd and my question number 2. how to return the money from the cs account to the card? and is it possible? i don't want to use the sierra chart anymore. it's too expensive for me
