I have my market depth for my ES DOM set to 10 levels, but it's showing far more than 10. On every other DOM it's only showing 10, it's just ES. It just started doing this a few days ago. How do I fix this?

It looks like you have made the change to only have 10 levels in Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings 3 >> Maximum Market Depth Levels.

Since what you are showing is a Trading DOM, you would have to also go to Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings 3 >> Maximum Market Depth Levels and change that to 10. It does not pick up on this from the associated Chart, as the Trading DOM is a chart of its own.

Refer to the information here:
Chart Settings: Maximum Market Depth Levels (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Market Depth menu)

I have noticed this as well and I have CQG market data. It seems they have enabled more than 10 levels by default?

Unfortunately this does not work for me i've tried everything and no matter what I do I still can't get the volume bars on the DOM chart to show less than ten levels it shows so many levels to go up and down a chart that it is confusing i'll send you a screenshot maybe the settings have changed since you wrote this in two thousand twenty

What is drawing those volume bars in Sierra Chart? The Volume by Price study?

Yes the volume by Price study is drawing these lines unfortunately it gives me the volume it pretty much just goes on forever I would like for these to be fixed where if I only want to show price levels of let's say 10 to 15 different price levels with just the volume for those but I don't know how to do it

What you want is not supported by the Volume by Price study:
Volume By Price Study

Use the Current Traded Volume columns instead:
Global Trade Settings Windows: Customize Chart/Trade DOM Columns (Chart Specific)

And then you can periodically reset those by right clicking on the values scale in selecting the appropriate reset command.
