I have clean ice data on one computer, but not the other. I do receive market data but am unable to make tools work correctly. When I put a marker at the base of one candle it offsets it by 3 spaces and tick chart and 5 minute chart does not match 5 minute chart on other computer. Please advise as I have no idea what I am doing wrong.

This could be caused by out of order timestamps. Go to the chart that you are having trouble putting a Marker on and select Edit >> Delete All Data and Download. If that does not solve the problem let us know.

I have attached am image of the 5 min TF chart to show where I think the problem is. Please see the 2 5 min bars at 11:30 and 12:20. They look like corrupted bars. This happens frequently but only with the TF symbol. These bars not only give insufficant data but also will not allow me to put a marker at the places I would like. Please advise a fix or whats wrong.

The problem is very obvious. There are out of order timestamps from the TransAct data feed. They do know about this problem. Not sure why it has not been resolved from their side.

We have programmed in a filter for out of order timestamps from the TransAct data feed. Update Sierra Chart by selecting Help >> Download Current Version.

After the update re-download the data in the chart by selecting Edit >>Delete All Data and Download.

Thank you for your help, but what I think you are saying is to contact Transact or avoid symbol because it is a continuing problem? Also, each time I do a delete all data and download it deletes all previous markers that take days to get on the chart in there correct positions. Will the filter fix all this because I have over 40 hours in the chart installing markers where I need them to be.

What we are saying is to do the following please:

We have programmed in a filter for out of order timestamps from the TransAct data feed. Update Sierra Chart by selecting Help >> Download Current Version
.

After the update re-download the data in the chart by selecting Edit >>Delete All Data and Download.

The filter will fix this.

Also when you re-download the data, it does not in any way remove the existing markers. They are still there and you can verify that through Tools >> Managed Chart Drawings Window.

If there is not enough historical data in the chart and this is the reason you do not see the markers at past Date-Times, then refer to help topic 42.1:
