Hi, I was not trading when all of a sudden I heard the audio notification that an order has been stopped out. I went to check my Trade Orders and it is showing what looks to be a valid order that seems to have been placed and stopped out seconds later- however I never placed this order, and the exchange was not even open at that time- but the order is showing what seems to be a valid exchange order ID? I contacted my broker immediately, who confirmed that I am flat with them, and they see no orders placed since earlier today; i.e. They cannot see this order in their system. This seems to have popped out of nowhere, and they said they cannot see the TT side and should contact you guys. It does not look like SIM order either. |

We had reset the connection to TT and there was a failover to the backup session because TT did not detect the prior session as logged out even though it was and TT retransmitted prior order activity during what they call the "recovery" process. Once we observed what was going on, we then reconnected again to get back to the primary session and then TT just sent the open orders which were requested. This retransmission of data is harmless. But it can look very confusing. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point.
