I've had this happen 4 times now in the space of three days. It's very disconcerting when I'm in the middle of a trade to have the program simply vanish. There are no entries in the log file. Is there any debugging instructions you can provide so I can capture what is happening? I've attached the chart file I am using. It has two charts, a TPO and the DOM. Here is the scenario: 1. I'm using attached orders. I use three contracts, with a trailing stop limit 8 ticks below, and upper stops 8, 16, and 24 ticks above. 2. The trade progresses. Now perhaps I want to change one of the stops. So I drag it to the new location on the DOM. Every once in a while the program immediately vanishes. 3. Another time I've seen it occur when I click on the number of contracts in the trailing stop limit order (or any other order on the DOM) on the DOM, say to change the number of contracts. The little dialog pops up, and I increment or decrement the number of contracts as desired. I close the dialog, and the program immediately vanishes. Need some help with this before I end up in the middle of a trade with no stops or something else equally disastrous. Attached is the .cht file as well as the attached orders (twconfig) file. |

Update Sierra Chart to the current version following these instructions: Software Download: Fast Update That should resolve it. After all of this time, the only conclusion we have come to about this issue is that it is an operating system level issue. We have never identified any problem within Sierra Chart related to it but we did implement some workarounds. More information about this is here: Notice: Stack Overflow Issue before I end up in the middle of a trade with no stops or something else equally disastrous.
You will not have this issue when using the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service which you are.

Either one is fine. Is this the checked build? No.
