here are the issues using version 1084 all for contract YM unless otherwise indicated.

-when ever I open SC it keeps defaulting to update the data from the IB datafeed instead of downloading the data from the sierra chart feed. Yes the support SC datafeed box is checked. The only fix I have found for this is to go into the data settings, select another source, wait for it to not work, and then go back to the IB feed and hit connect. Usually after doing this the [M] comes up at least most of the time. This has been happening the entire time since I have been using the feed, and finally have to say something.

-I am trying to use the date based back adjusted rollover rule for the continuous contract but it keeps going right back to the volume based rollover rule right after I hit apply.

-I constantly have to re-download a missing chunk of data for YM dating from dec 20 2013-jan 1 2013. It is always the same chunk that goes missing everytime I shut down the program.

-I can't seem to get any data for NQ at all, and the chart scale is bonkers for the NQ. with numbers like 2220000.

Problems like these would be because of one or both of the following:

-An issue with the Account Balance check from IB. There was a bug with this in one recent version. Not sure if you are running that version or not.

- A problem with the Symbol Settings or incomplete symbol settings. There was also a problem with this in a recent version.

Do the following:

Update Sierra Chart by selecting Help >> Download Current Version.

After the update, performing Full Reset of the symbol settings by following the instructions here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_GlobalSymbolSettings.php#UpdateSettings

Problems like these are not acceptable and you should have notified us when you have them. Do not hesitate to contact us about these when you have them. You should not have any trouble like this.

We had a look at the Message Log and you are missing Symbol Settings. This is the problem. Whether this was the result of some processing problem with the symbol settings in one version or not, we are not sure.

Rollover rule do not exist for YM-201012-ECBOT

If there is any problem with the data in a chart, then re-download it by selecting Edit >>Delete All Data and Download. In the case of a Continuous Futures Contract chart, press No at the first prompt.

The Message Log is clearly indicating that the Symbol Settings are missing.

When you did a Full Reset, did you see the symbols fill back up into the symbol list in Global Settings >> Symbol Settings?

the one thing I had not done is deleted all and hit no
as i missed that part of your reply...previously I was always hitting yes
forgetting that the continuous contracts are a series of symbols...I am now in the process of doing that.
