Hi I'm trying to use Volume at Price Threshold alert V2 in order to hilight on the number bars a delta > or < of a certain amount, for this purpose I've put as a Comparison Method: Ask Volume Bid Volume Difference in this case 300 as a Volume threshold, but it works only with positive deltas not with negative ones as you can see on the chart it doesn't hilight them as you see 706/30 or 1212/794 etc... are not hilighted... it seems it doesn't consider negative numbers of delta, am I doing something wrong or is it a bug? This is the result http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1597265269157.png attacched the setings tks |

You just need to add a second copy of the Volume at Price Threshold Alert V2 and set the threshold to be -300. We noticed that this is not explained in the documentation, we will update that shortly. The documentation has been updated to give information about using negative numbers for the Bid volumes when using a delta.

In the use of this indicator "Volume At Price Threshold Alert V2" (really with a great potential) I'm encountering further issues, I'm trying to build a chart with the delta throught this indicator, something like this: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1597404016690.png a chart made of delta circles, for this purpose I setted "Ask Volume Bid Volume Difference" at 1 and going up in order to see circles for every price, the bigger cirle the bigger delta, and so I tried both for positive delta and negative delta setting also "Additional Volume Thresohod" at 10, (and for negative delta -1 and -10) The problem is that it is not working correctly to me, bigger circles are not corresponding to bigger delta and viceversa. Is it setted something wrong or other? tks regards |

There really is no way to do specifically what you want without programming it. Refer to the following for where to start with regards to creating a custom study for Sierra Chart: Advanced Custom Study Interface and Language (ACSIL) And refer to: How to Build an Advanced Custom Study from Source Code Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. The point is that I don't need anything more that the indicator itself can do, it has simply to show a circle (I used Transparent Circle Variable Size) for all the delta (Ask volume Bid volume Difference) above a certain threshold. I generally works (it makes a circle on every delta above 300 in this case) as you can see: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1597685412888.png but they are not proportionate to the actual delta numbers (a higher delta doesn't make a bigger circle) Below the settings I put, don't know what can be setted wrong.. On the other hand I was able to create something similar (that is working correctly, I verified on the footprint) with the "Large volume Trade Indicator" but it plots the TOTAL VOLUME, http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1597686367401.png could it be possible to Add ( ON THE LARGE VOLUME TRADE INDICATOR) as a Draw Mode something like "Based on Ask Bid volume Difference" ?? Thank you regards |

What is requested in this thread will be available in the next release (v2227) in the Large Volume Trade Indicator. The ability to display the delta at each level or for the entire bar has been added. Additionally, when using the option for Automatic Indicator Size, each side - Ask or Bid will have their indicator size adjusted relative to the settings for the study. We are looking into diagonal delta. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
