Dear SC Team,

im not able to pull historical tick data from Denali, for Rough Rice ZR CBOT/Globex. there also seems to be a continuous contract stitching issue for Mexican Peso 6M CME. these are offered by my broker, AMP futures

please take a look

Thank you

These are now both resolved.

Follow the instructions here to update the Symbol Settings:
Global Symbol Settings: Update Global Symbol Settings

In the case of Mexican Peso 6M CME, select Chart >> Reload and Recalculate.

In the case of ZR:

Re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". You just need to do this once per symbol and not for each chart.

Thank you for your prompt response as always!

6M continuous stitching is resolved

ZR can now be downloaded. it seems to have 6M's previous continuous contract stitching issue. the historical first trade date of ZR is 03 Oct 1994. i've followed the instructions to delete & download all data. also checked <use no. of days to download> & made sure <continuous contract> settings are set

please look at ZR. i apologise in advance, for reporting other symbols that may follow with such issues, as i d/l them

Thank you

We do not know what the question is at post #3. You need to be very very precise with us, and provide a proper basis as to why you think there is a problem.

after following the instructions to update global symbols, historical tick data for 6M is now working correctly

ZR was previously not even downloading, due to symbol problems. it can be downloaded now, but is having the previous continuous stitching issue that 6M previously had. the current month contract is not being stitched to historical months & hence SC only prompts the current month data to be downloaded (see log attached). im not able to download data before 28 Apr 2020, despite having correct chart settings (see screenshots in post 3) & deleting & re-downloading all data

please take a look

Thank you

Here is an hourly chart of Rough Rice futures with vertical lines showing each contract month and where that rollover occurred:

Do you see any problem with this chart? It looks fine for us. Does your chart look different?

If you need to re-download data, follow the instructions here:

i appreciate the patience & screenshot

somehow for ZR, setting the chart settings\ continuous contract -> continuous futures contract AND chart settings\ use number of days to load, do not automatically prompt SC to download historical back months

see log attached. note the log only shows SC triggering a download of the current month's symbol ZR_U20_FUT_CBOT. downloading for the back months are not triggered

i am able to force a download of the latest two expired ZR contract months, by changing the chart symbol, using find symbol\ futures - cbot\ ZR?##_FUT_CBOT | Rough Rice - CBOT\ ZRH20_FUT_CBOT (March 2020 (Exp.) & ZRK20_FUT_CBOT (May 2020 (Exp.). and get the same screenshot as yours (zr1.png attached)

a delete & download data prompts "Confirm Intraday data download for ZRU20_FUT_CBOT starting at 2020-03-19 21:00:00". despite chart settings set to download way more historical data (zr2.png attached)

with the correctly set chart settings, historical back months downloading works fine for all other symbols, except for ZR. the message log shows SC does not even attempt to download back months, despite a 3650 days to load chart setting. also made sure file\ date/trade service settings\ max historical intraday days to download is increased above the default 186 days

please take a look

Thank you

We are not understanding this. We have given you precise instructions here to follow:
Continuous Futures Contract Charts: Re-Downloading Continuous Futures Contract Data (Re-Downloading Continuous Futures Contract Data)

It is clear that you have not followed them at all. Follow them step-by-step precisely.

We have added a screenshot at step 6 where you are apparently not following that step.
