Hello, I read the page about market replay but still have some questions: 1) Correct me if i'm wrong: I don't need to start a "recording" for market replay.... any intraday chart displayed will be replayable for the time it was displayed. 2) I have tick chart granulation enabled. If I display a chart on 5mn interval.... will I be able to replay it on 1 second interval? Or will I only be able to replay intervals that were specifically displayed? 1. Correct, you do not need to "record" the basic data for a replay, as this information is always recorded/saved whenever you connect Sierra Chart to your data feed. The only data that does need to be "recorded" is the Market Depth. There is no historical Market Depth available yet. Therefore, during a replay it will only show what has been recorded. Refer to the information here: Replaying Charts: Replaying of Market Depth Data 2. It does not matter how you are viewing the data as to what is recorded. The data is stored at the level that you have defined in Data/Trade Service Settings. Thank you for your answer. I have tick data (I verified), and set chart to 1 second. On replay chart is it possible to have sub second updates of chart? When I replay, chart seems to be updated every 1 second, there is not intra second bar streaming, and wonder if it is possible? |

This may relate to millisecond time stamping for trades and support for true millisecond time stamping of trades will be available soon.
