You cannot. Make sure the Stop order is placed at a valid price. Refer to: Order Types: Stop Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. what is the reason that I cannot do this and why would it reject rather than just fill me at mkt? i have had other platforms numerous ones that would let me set a stop above or below the market whenver and where ever i want and if in the process my order is hit by a fast mkt then it fills rather than rejects. the rejects because quotes are delayed are becoming very expensive for me. other platforms allow it.I am not sure if you guys relize it or not but having a good charting system is just not enough anymore and execution is paramount when the mkt is moving as fast as it does and telling us oh well you need to make sure your price is valid. um .. my price is valid and should be filled immediately if the mkt already ran thru it. I am asking if this is something that can be worked on |

You need to ask the CME this question since they are rejecting it: what is the reason that I cannot do this and why would it reject rather than just fill me at mkt?
This is not within the scope of our support. Any platform that does with you want, is managing the Stop order outside of the exchange which you would not want. What you can do is use a client-side managed Stop instead: Order Types: Stop with Last Triggering Which is not held at the exchange but at least gives you what you want. So we do not recommend it but it is available. i appreciate your answer but how do i have my system/sierra front end send a mkt order on a reject automatically. i think that was the question i had but I formed it incorrectly. How would i have sierra chart automatically send a mkt order if an order is rejected due to price being too high or too low for a stop i.e. invalid price as you put it thank you |

There is an option for this: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/GlobalTradeSettings.html#AutoSendMarketOrderOnRejectedStopAttachedOrder However, we have to see if that works for server side bracket orders. It may not and then we have to look at how to support that. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. We are working on adding support for this for server side bracket orders: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/GlobalTradeSettings.html#AutoSendMarketOrderOnRejectedStopAttachedOrder Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
