Replay functionality is working fine in all versions. Nothing has changed with this.

The DOM bid/offer prices are not refreshing..... they are staying put without changing then new print are going over them until you end up with a mess of numbers over existing numbers. This is a problem that I have mentioned before and of which you acknowledged when other ppl also started seeing prob, i would appreciate it if you dont just dismiss my problem outright and wait for others to eventually come forward. Less experienced traders find it difficult to admit they use replay so the problem doesnt manifest until other ppl also report it. Like I say ive had to go back to version 2052 which definately works. I havent had time to increment versions until I hit the one that is no longer working yet but needless to say 2052 is working fine. Common sense stipulatesd that if 2052 is working 100% and the latest version is not working 100% then either a direct or indirect factor is causing the problem! |

Nice to see you fixed this problem ... would have appreciated it if you had updated this thread. just downgraded to 2067 just to check the fault was still there and yes it was, so its nice that you have addressed this! thanks |

What you are explaining in post #3 is very different than post #1. You are describing a wholly different problem. When you say replay is not working in the original post, to us it tells us that when you start a chart replay, then the chart does not replay at all and stays at one time. That problem just simply does not exist. Or has a documented cause, meaning there was no trading activity during the Date-Times being replayed. And what you describe at post #3, we have not heard before from anyone. But interestingly, we did actually see this ourselves in testing a couple of days ago and we implemented a simple but imperfect solution in the latest prerelease. But this still needs more work. And often when users do common sense analysis, it is incorrect. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. version 2086 is showing the same fault as you experienced as per your comment in reply #5 above. DOM ladder is not clearing previous prints and the whole thing becomes a mess.

Is this during a chart replay?

No need for an answer to post #8. We are going to work on the issue. There is a lot of complexity related to the underlying problem.

Regarding overlapping market depth quantities during a replay: We were able to reproduce this and we are developing a solution. We are not totally sure of the cause yet but we will figure it out.
