Hello,

Is it possible to add the the number of stocks at today's High and the number of stocks at today's Low for the different US stock Exchanges as a market statistics?

Example for "At today's High for the New York Stock Exchange"

https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/USI-ATHI.NY/

Thanks

What exactly does that mean? We are not sure of the method of calculation.

This is not making any sense to us at all. So we do not see adding it. It does not even seem useful either.

It counts the number of stocks that are below today's low or above today's high starting at the opening of the stock exchange.

This is not making any sense to us at all. So we do not see adding it. It does not even seem useful either.

It is very useful for a trader as the key relies in the difference between the number of stocks at today's High and the number of stocks at today's Low. The difference of the 2 lines will output the overall position of the Stock Index at the current moment.

What do you expect the Index will do if at the current moment there is an overwhelming amount of stocks trading lower than the current day's low? It will go down as well...

This makes no sense to us at all. We still have no idea of the calculation method. We do not know how you can compare the price of a stock to the low price of an index containing that stock and somehow come to the conclusion that it is trading lower. The same for comparing to the high.

What do you expect the Index will do if at the current moment there is an overwhelming amount of stocks trading lower than the current day's low?
How can this be? This seems mathematically impossible to us. If stocks are trading lower that is going to immediately affect the index which contains those stocks.

We cannot spend further time on this. This is not something which would be added and we do not understand it anyway.

I'm pretty sure the calculation is just

ATHI: number of stocks currently at their high of day
ATLO: number of stocks currently at their low of day

The ATHI-ATLO spread is very useful and I'm really surprised to not see these symbols... Please implement this!

Yes this is what we recommend you use:
We have Market Statistics for ADV (stocks above previous close) and DECL (stocks below previous close) and ADR (Advance Decline Ratio).

It will be stable throughout the day. Certainly the values will change, but it will be logical and sensible throughout the day.
