Hello SC! I am trying to view a historical tick chart, but every time I try to load the chart it returns this error: ESH20 [CBV][M] 1 Trades #3 | Encountered an out-of-memory condition when loading the chart data. | 2019-12-14 11:33:41.558 * My PC RAM is only ~30-35% untilized when this happens so it leaves me to wonder that it must be the platform itself returning this error. How do I overcome this? How could I increase the allocated RAM to the platform to allow it to load? Thank you |

Refer to: Working With Charts: Out of Memory Condition Make sure you are running the 64-bit version of Sierra Chart. But still the operating system can still give memory allocation errors anyway. Thank you for your speedy response. It has, however, not helped. Perhaps you could assist with what I am trying to achieve as I would not understand the platform as you do. I am trying to run an export of ES tick data from 2011. This is supported, as it is shown on your website. I have downloaded those days to the database, however, when I set the chart settings to load the database it begins to load (showing the loading screen) but then displays the blank screen with the error. I usually build the chart with the data and then do EDIT >> Export Bar Data to Text File. Is there a way to export the data base of tick data to text file without building on a chart? |

Instead you need to use this Export command: Edit Menu: Edit >> Export Intraday Data to Text file However, you can only export one contract month at a time this way. So you have to change the chart symbol multiple times going back in time and export each one. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. So based on that it would export individual contract months and not a rolling, continuous contract?

Is there no other way using Sierra Charts to export a continuous contract?
