Hello im looking to sign up for sierra chart advanced package $36 a month and take advantage of the new delayed exchange data feed, Can you help point in me the right direction of what page i need to read or steps i need to follow in order to do so ? Thanks in advance

Hello i have now purchased the advanced package 5 for $36 a month to achieve delayed streaming data, Once i get a better feel of the platform i will want to purchase real time data for live streaming, I myself use TD ameritrade and am aware of the recent changes in regards to TD's new login method, i myself have commented on the thread posted explaining the goals i was trying to achieve as far as taking advantage of CME discount exchange fee with having a funded account with TD ameritrade but from the thread that was posted it seems that would no loner be a possibility, and following up with the most recent posts it talks about you guys are still looking for another route in order to achieve that so not sure if that issue has been resolved or not If you could please point me in the right direction as far as what would be the best route for me to achieve my goals and get the best deal possible i would appreciate it Thank you for your time, Have a blessed day |

It is certainly possible for you to take advantage of the CME nonprofessional fees when using TD Ameritrade. We did post that in the thread and we have also been calling users about this. The facility for this is in place. You just need to provide a statement from Ameritrade. Let us know if you want us to proceed with that with you and we will start a ticket to you with instructions. You just need to do this when you are ready to receive real-time data. For now it sounds like you are just going to use the delayed data. If that is the case then i would like to start the setup process as i can provide a statement from TD ameritrade but first would you be able to give me a breakdown of what i would be paying monthly for as far as the data feed and the cme discount exchange fee cost ? I have looked at the information you provide on your website as far as the pricing goes with different brokers and what not but not exactly sure what the exact amount i myself would be paying for me having an account with TD ameritrade |

Thank you for the reply i read through the link about the directions and am ready to set everything up but a couple things i did notice i copied and pasted below i had some questions about I didnt notice TD ameritrade in the list below so just want to confirm on the correct data package i select, it would be the "Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) for nonprofessional Trading accounts" correct ? Also next question it stated that CME offers a trial for the first month activated, is this the case in that the first month would be free and the funds i add wont be used until next month? Im looking to add $30 of credit to my account to cover the $25 + $3.25 cost, Thanks for your help "To receive the real-time CME Group futures data at the reduced exchange fees for Non-Professionals, requires that Sierra Chart is directly connected to one of the following supported futures Trading services and that you have a live, funded account with them: TransAct/Infinity, Interactive Brokers, Rithmic, CTS T4, TT (Trading Technologies) FIX, GAIN Capital (OEC Trader), or CQG. We have made a decision to change the policy of using statements to verify accounts . This is an administrative burden. We are going to require you to open an account with another broker. You can still keep your current trading account in trade with that. We would recommend using AMP. You put as little as $100 in the account. We will follow-up with more details later today. Yes the first month is going to be free for both the data feed and the exchange fee so long as you have not used either previously. So no cost this month. Not sure if that was meant for me or not but that is incorrect i dont use either of those, still have not been able to make a decision on which seperate brokerage is going to be the best route for me

We apologize, we were referring to another user in post #12. Definitely opening an account with AMP for 100 USD to show you have a trading account is definitively the right path and we are going to put together formal documentation for this. There is no further verification that will be necessary. They will set you up on our TT order routing and Sierra Chart will know you are authorized for CME data. That is the absolute best thing to do. Do not think twice about it. Just please get this done. We have already discussed this with AMP. I was able to complete the data setup process but I dont have any data coming through now, the charts are stuck on a price and not moving the delayed data isn't even printing, The bottom of the setup page said you should see an "M" at the top of your screen which i do not have I waited 10 minutes and restarted the program like it advised and still no luck Please advise |

Hi Engineering, In post #6, you mentioned that TD Ameritrade is still available. I have a funded TD Ameritrade account and would like to follow a few stocks using SC charts. Attached is data trade settings window for v2033 and I don't see TDA listed. Since I have Transact WS and SC Data (futures), what else is necessary to use TDA for stocks? Alternatively, can I use SC Data for stocks? (Link?) Thanks for your help. |
