This is the situation...
I appreciate Sierra is discontinuing CQG data feed as of 12/31/2019.
My trading account is with AMP.
I am trying to switch my data feed to Denali through Sierra Charts. As I appreciate CGQ will still be the order router to AMP.
I tried to make the switch to Denali data following instructions from TRADE PRO. It has not worked.
I pay for Sierra Charts direct and not through AMP. However, I believe my CQG data feed was paid through my AMP account.
Now I am totally shut down.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Not sure where you got that information from but it is not correct. The CQG data feed is still supported. You can use the Denali Exchange Data Feed if you want, but if the CQG data feed meets your requirements you might as well just stay with that.

Why do you say you are totally shut down? Are you not receiving real-time data from CQG now?

Well, TradePro has suggested I go to the Denali data feed. I have been fine with the CQG feed but was informed by Trade Pro (where I am a member) that Sierra would not be supporting CGQ after 12/31/2019 and that CQG would simply be the order routing service to AMP (my broker).

I have gone to my Sierra Account and completed the necessary forms per your last post, but I am not showing data connection to Sierra.

Are you saying that CQG will still be supported by Sierra after 12/31/19?

Very much thanks for your help.
I have been a bit lost in the morass for the last few days. AMP who is generally good with support has gone a bit dark on me.

Yes it will be supported. We will contact them and let them know.

The only feed that will be unsupported, is TD Ameritrade after December 2019 and this is due to technical changes by TD Ameritrade and their new interface, having a very difficult logon method which is going to be difficult for us to support.

Even Rithmic which we do not want to provide technical support for, is still supported by Sierra Chart. And we probably will still answer questions in relation to it anyway.

I went back to my CQG account to try and reset everything to prior trying to engage Denali data and find I am now locked out of my CQG account. I am sure I have checked a wrong box or supplied some wrong info or something. How do I reset to the way I was setup prior to trying to install Denali.
Thanks,
AFL

Hi Mr Lefeve, the error message that you are getting:

"Logon rate has exceeded the allowable limit 20 logins per 5 minutes. Contact Customer Support for assistance."
This message is from CQG. When you see this message, select File >> Disconnect. Wait 5 minutes. And then try connecting again.

If there is another error after connecting, see if that error message is listed in this section here and take the appropriate steps to resolve.
