I'm tyring to import a large file (~33GB) and I'm not sure if SC is processing or is there some kind of error. I've checked a section of this file and I can confirm the formatting etc works.
Is it simply a matter of the size ?
Please see attached, thx

In that log that you posted an image of there is a temporary file name that you highlighted. Periodically check that file size to see if it is growing during the Import. If it is, then Sierra Chart is continuing to do the import. We would not expect anything to go wrong.

Can you compress the file with 7Z and attach it here and we will test.

Looks like the import did work. I left it running on my work PC before leaving yesterday and this morning it looks like it finished in about 5 hours !!

One problem I did face was that my tick data finished mid-day 11-Nov-19 but then SC downloaded and appended to the file the data for stock "ES" (my file was called ES.scid). Is there any way to stop it from doing that.

thanks for looking into this, but this may have been a false alarm...

You could set the Service in Sierra Chart to "No Service" to avoid this.
