Looks like the import did work. I left it running on my work PC before leaving yesterday and this morning it looks like it finished in about 5 hours !! One problem I did face was that my tick data finished mid-day 11-Nov-19 but then SC downloaded and appended to the file the data for stock "ES" (my file was called ES.scid). Is there any way to stop it from doing that. thanks for looking into this, but this may have been a false alarm...
