I am using attached orders with a 10 tick stop and I am getting stopped out on a 2 and 4 ticks only - see blue arrows on screenshot. Can you please look into this? I am also attaching the NQ chartbook for your reference. This issue is happening in both live and sim trading

If required, I would like to setup a pay phone consultation to discuss if the attached orders setup is incorrect. Please advice as soon as possible as this is causing me major issues

Talked to customer and found that they had a study that was causing the Stop orders to move where they were not expecting it.

The only issue by disabling "Auto Trading Enabling - Global" and "Auto Trading Enabling - Chart", the Trade Management by Study does not work anymore. I was told that both "Auto Trading Enabling - Global" and "Auto Trading Enabling - Chart" need to be enable for the Trade Management by Study to work.

I reviewed all my studies and did not see anything that closes the trade automatically. I also created a new instance of Sierra Chart and selected only NQ chartbook and enabled "Auto Trading Enabling - Global" and "Auto Trading Enabling - Chart" and experience the same issue as before, where I would get stopped out with 1 or 2 ticks even though I had a 10 tick stop.

I would like to setup another phone consultation to see if this can be resolved.

To begin with, there definitely is a study that causing the issue. You will need to look through the studies that are on all of the charts for the specific symbol in all of the instances of Sierra Chart.

Keep in mind that even if you start a new instance of Sierra Chart, all the charts that deal with that same symbol can affect the trades. So again, there is a study somewhere on one of the NQ charts that is stopping out the original order.

If you still are not able to find the study, then let us know and we will see what we can do.

I am not able to find the study in istance #1. I spent several hours in the weekend reviewing it. Please note that I am running a second instance with auto trading using the spreadsheets with Trade Management by Study. This is working fine in instance #2.

I have uploaded the trade activity log for a replay I did for Sep 17, 2019. The line that states
Auto trade order modification states that it was initiated by the Trade Management Study in chart #7, which is the same chart I used to do the replay. I also attached the a screenshot of the chart replay where I got stopped out at 4 ticks only.

Do you provide phone support during the weekend?

I think figured out the issue. The trade management by study was the culprit.

Questions:

1. If the trade management is enabled, do you have the ability to manually adjust the stops?
2. I followed the directions from this reference: Attached Orders: Study Controlled Targets and Stops to enable the trade management by study using the control bar #1 and #3 and still does not work. Any suggestions?

Sorry for the delay in getting to this. Here are your answers:

1. Yes, you can modify the orders manually, but the Trade Management by Study is going to adjust the orders again at whatever interval you have set. The net result is that you will be fighting with the study, so you really have to choose one or the other.

2. After you select the ACS Control Bar button to be associated with a specific Trade Management by Study study, then follow the instructions here to add this to your Control Bar buttons:
Control Bar: Advanced Custom Study Control Bar Buttons
