Hello,

I have updated from v1983 to v1986 and noticed that my Volume By Price studies do not look the same anymore in area of labelling profiles. New parameters have been introduced and behaviour has changed dramatically.

1) New logic doesn't take into account position of profile (left-based or right-based) to plot the text label. It is always on the left side right-aligned. So it encroaches into previous period profile and makes text unreadable. If it is configured as "single line" then text covers previous period making me think that it belongs to it instead of next period
2) Previous version of the study would place "Low" value of profile under it and "High" above it. That was visually more appealing comparing to new implementation.

If I my propose a little enhancements instead of simply "go back" (because you had a reason to make those changes):
1) Allow 2 areas for text labels (above and under the profile)
2) Make alignment of the text labels the way it will always stay above profile inside its time frame on the chart
3) Add parameter to set font size for text labels (and may be their color)
4) Reflect new parameters in documentation dedicated to the study

Thanks and best regards

I am having the same issue with the profile labels, one value is in the middle of the chart and the second is on the far left of the chart (underneath vwap, most of it off-screen)

Allowing users to pick values for 2 groups makes it easy to present like:

Volume | High | Value Area High
|
|\
|-|
|/
|
Point of Control | Value Area Low | Low

We can see we did not consider anything other than left aligned profiles with the new label functionality. We will work on this over the next couple of days.
