Round Trip Trade Duplication

All trades being duplicated w/ V.1957. I removed them earlier today and then disconnected/reconnected and they are shown again in my trade history. Could this be due to TT issues?

This is just a logging issue with duplicate order fills. We will check the server to see if there are duplicates there. If there are we will remove them. If not, we will just give you the procedure to re-download the fills.

We do see the duplicates but we want to understand why these duplicates exist to begin with. Because not only do we see duplicate fills, we are seeing duplicates even with the order activity entries. It might have been during the recovery process we ran Saturday evening to get missing fills from the TT server due to the trading issue on Friday(August 2) afternoon with TT.

Please just allow us until the morning to figure this out.

We apologize for the long delay here. We finally have the answer as to why the duplicates were occurring. We were concerned, that there was a problem with the recovery process through TT that we did on August 3 to recover missing order fills. There was no issue with the recovery process.

The problem was that we had made a backup of the Trade Activity Log files from August 2 by adding "backup" into the file name. This backup was also getting queried for fills when they were being served to users. So that is why there was duplicate information.

We now now changed the filename of the backup so this problem no longer occurs. We now have the answer to something that was bothering us all of this time.

We think at this point in time it is best to manually delete the duplicates from the Trade Activity Log by using the Edit >> Delete Trade Activity Entry functionality:
