Effective July 1, assuming there are no unexpected technical complications, we will be releasing new service packages which bundle the CME data. We will announce pricing in the next few days.

The standard CME exchange fees also have to be paid. But there will be no exchange fees due until August assuming you activate the package in July.

This new data feed is called the "Bundled Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed".

It differs from the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed which we currently offer. It only provides CME data at this time. If you need the CME data and other exchanges you need to continue to use the non-bundled data feed.

We gradually are going to move users over who just requires CME data without any action on your part to the new bundled data feed, during the month of July.

This new data feed will allow two real-time connections and no symbol limits.

And later, we will be providing streaming delayed CME data to our other service packages as well.

Q.
If we have a subscription to eg Service Package 5 that has months left before expiry will we able to "upgrade" to the new bundles in July ?

What we have decided is that there are going to be two new service options for this data feed. Not new service packages.

20 USD/month for the data feed for use with the Sierra Chart Order Routing service.
35 USD/month for the data feed when not used with the Sierra Chart Order Routing service.

This will support up to two real-time connections. That is all the CME will allow at the nonprofessional fees.

Regarding symbol limits, we will not impose them unless we see there is a problem. So they could be imposed at a later time.

This new data feed is called the "Bundled Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed".

It differs from the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed which we currently offer. It only provides CME data at this time.

1. Do these option prices include Sierrachart direct account? Or is that not needed to use the SC order routing with a broker provided SC package?

2. Are all CME exchanges included?

3. Any other differences in the feed quality/speed vs the non-bundled SC Feed?

1. No they do not. They are in addition. But you can also use Sierra Chart provided by your broker with these data feed options.
2. Exchange fees are extra.
3. No differences.

1. Does CME data include all CME exchanges, NYMEX, COMEX, etc?

2. Will there be a without market depth/top of book only exchange fee option, for all CME exchanges bundle?

Sierra Chart Engineering - Posts: 104368
1. Yes this is the case. All 4 market data centers.

2 Yes, whatever the CME makes available and what we have now, will be part of the exchange options.

I am currently using AMP Futures. How do i setup my broker for minimal costs? In the end, what AMP costs would i have if i use your orderrouting service and CME bundle?

I would love to use this service with the SC Order Routing Service once we can get the order routing costs billed directly from our AMP accounts. That would be awesome!

Currently I am paying $25 a month for 20 real-time symbols data feed, are you saying that from 1st of July this fee is going up to $35?

Sierra Chart Engineering - Posts: 104368
In response to post #12, we need to think about that. We may just set the price at 30 instead of 35.

Per Post#12, I believe quite a few subscribers are on Interactive Brokers for trade execution due to location etc and it would be harsh to penalize them until we can make the Sierra routing service work for us.

20 symbols can be enough for some futures traders

We will initially make the price 25 USD per month instead of the 35 for the new data feed if you are not using the SC order routing service.

Hi,

You feed is not available in Europe yet. Is there an update oncoming with European Accounts?

Is there an update to connect through DTC your data to bookmap?

Thanks

Why do you say it is not available in Europe? It is. Unless you are talking about EUREX data routed through Frankfurt.

European accounts are supported.

European accounts are supported.

I was referring to CME as I asked the last couple of weeks to different brokers and they are said that at the moment it was restricted to US accounts only.

I have accounts with both Gain and TransAct and have no problem trading CME futures from UK and no problem with SC data.

This new data feed is going to require version 1943 or higher to use. You can update with Help >> Download Prerelease ..

We did expect it would be supported with 1939 or higher but there was one additional change that is needed to support it and that is in 1943.

We will initially make the price 25 USD per month instead of the 35 for the new data feed if you are not using the SC order routing service.

1. What exactly is bundled with the new bundled feed?

2. Any way for a cheaper option with the new bundled feed than the current $20 feed?

3. Any way for an even cheaper feed option for using with the SC Order Routing?

Another change has been made in Sierra Chart to support this data feed. Version 1944 or higher will be required. You can update with Help >> Download Prerelease.

Furthermore, this data feed will not be available until sometime between 12 PM to 1 PM US Eastern time on July 1. As long as you do not need it immediately at the beginning of the month, then just wait for the option to be available. Otherwise, you will need to activate the existing Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed.

When available this new data feed can be activated here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation

It will just be an additional service on your account. The name of the data feed, is called the "Denali Data Feed". This distinguishes it from the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. We will provide further details, at the time it is released.

If you are a user of the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed, at the beginning of the month or any time during July you will be able to switch to this new data feed at no additional cost. But if you do not need the real-time Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed before July 1, 2 PM, then please wait for this feed to become available and do not activate or renew the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed.
