Hi SC, I would like to request this -- I am recording my videos now and while I tend to be the primary viewer, if I show to someone else it would be almost impossible to edit the videos with the windows moving around to hide the number. A simple mask like 12**** for 123456 would suffice I think. Please consider, and thank you.

So you are looking to have the trade account identifier displayed on the Trade Window hidden? We have to think about how to go about that. There are a lot of complications with this and it probably will trigger numerous problems when we try to make this work. This is exactly what we want to avoid. So we do not have much interest in trying to accomplish this. As soon as we do this, then we start getting all of these complaints on the board about all kinds of unexpected problems. I don't want to upset you, but I have one last suggestion for this: Add "Color of Trading account Text" for this item only - everyone could give the color of the account text the same as the background and it would not be visible. In the next release, there will be a setting, on the Trade Window menu, to completely hide the Trade Account list altogether. That is the most simplified way to do this and not cause any unexpected side effects.

I'm using prerelease 2210 and I see the menu option, but after selecting "Hide Trade Account List" nothing happens. Is it implemented yet? Thanks

We did not implement it on the Compact (C) Trade Window tab yet. Are you looking at the compact tab of the Trade window or the main trade window tab?

I am viewing it on the compact window (detached). I've got to use the detached because of the blinking attached trade window. For that blinking issue, Sierra Chart Engineering said that windows is absolute garbage and probably the cause of the blinking every second or so. Anyways, noted on compact not being affected by the new setting. Would definitely appreciate it working for compact as well as it saves space. Thanks! |

Yes we do remember this, and it is our plan to replace the garbage Trade Window, with a fully new implementation and we hope to get to that within the next three months.
