I am not able to download historical (daily) data for the big Russell 2000. I updated the symbol list from server as you advised other members. It downloads just 14 days back. I can download historical data for other indexes including emini Russell 2000 (RTY). Please advise.

...btw I am able to download 14 days of history just when I set the chart to "intraday chart". When I choose "historical chart" it always says "download failed".

That is no longer the correct symbol. The correct symbol can be found in File >> Find Symbol >>IB Indexes.

No, that is not working neither. Funny thing is that all the other IB indexes are working, except this one.

Probably related to the FTSE Russell market data policies. Interactive Brokers probably would not have permission to provide this data. Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Fully re-download the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >>Delete All Data and Download". After about a minute provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#MessageLog For example FTSE Russell would not let our data provider provide data into Sierra Chart. A separate agreement would be required with us which we do not have. So the same would apply to Interactive Brokers as well.
