Dear Sierra,

Sierra is a magnificent tool. Thank you for that!

The base of my question is:
I have Rithmic as a data provider, so I see a very deep DOM.
Pulling/Stacking counting, as per Sierra's default setting, reset themselves only when the spread gets to them.
However, sometimes a Stacking amount gets pulled after a longer period of having been Stacked and therefore this the net effect is zero, so it does not show as a Pulling (for example at 10.00 AM a level get stacked with 700 contracts, but then after 11.00 AM 700 get pulled: the Pulling/Stacking at this level will show basically no change, ie around zero).
The question:
To avoid the "misunderstanding" described above: It would be useful to have a time setting, where one could limit how long a Pulling or Stacking amount is "remembered".
It is in my view a really important piece of Information and a vital Setting that would enable users to chose how long a Pulling/Stacking is remembered and included into the calculation of the net number.
This could be time-related, or could be defined in renko bar or range chart bars, but in any case in my view the Pulling/Stacking information becomes quickly obsolete and should not be "remembered" too long.

This is a really important piece of Information and a vital Setting that would enable much more visibility. It could be time-related, or could be defined in renko bar or range chart bars, but in any case: the pulling/stacking information becomes quickly obsolete and should not be "remembered".

I have been contacted by others both in the Forum and personally, who see my point and joined in asking the question, so the request appears to be a valid concern.

I would very much appreciate to hear back from you.

Not sure why this has Rithmic in the subject and that is one reason we have been ignoring this because it sounds like a data feed specific issue which we will not provide support for.

There is no resetting of the market depth pulling and stacking data, unless there is a reconnect to the data feed.

What we can do is add a command to perform a reset for this data for the symbol of the active chart. But that is all we are willing to do.

Thank you Sir. I would appreciate this. Does this mean that feature will automatically be in the next version of Sierra?

No not necessarily. We do not know when we would get to this.

I actually just wanted to know if it will be in a release at some point, meaning I just need to wait until that release?
And what kind of command will it be? A new ACSIL command?

Dear Sierra,

This command, will it be an ACSIL command?

Yes. It is going to be a menu command and you can also use a control bar button and keyboard shortcut.

Should be out sometime next week.

Dear Sierra,

Have you gotten to this project of resetting of Pulling/Sticking in Sierra?

I came to the conclusion that resetting at least in the open would improve the usefulness of the DOM significantly.
What's more: if it was possible to define 4-5 times of the day when it should restart the counter would make this functionality really perfect.
Meanwhile I am just restarting the connection every time I need "new visibility", although this sometimes results in interruption in my Denali feed, requiring more restarts.

Thank you,
