I’m using “CandleStick Patterns Finder” and “Color Bar Based on Alert Condition”. I would like to have let say all “Hammers” colored using the draw style “Color Bar” BUT I would like to get rid of the text under the bars. Is that possible and if so how can I achieve it? I tried hiding the study but it didn’t help.

To color the Hammers, use this formula in the Color Bar study: =ID1.SG1=1 =ID1.SG1 would also work. This assumes the CandleStick Patters Finder study is ID1, and the Pattern # is 1. Each Pattern # 1-6 is SG1-SG6, and it outputs a 1 when TRUE. Since neither Hide Study nor Draw Style Ignore will remove the text, set the color of Pattern 1 to match your chart background. |

Thank you, Tom. I’ve tried matching the chart background before and didn’t like it because the invisible text ‘eats’ some of the next candle. I thought there was a way to remove the text completely. Anyway, thanks for the reply.

We will add an option to the next version of the Candlestick Patterns Finder study to hide the text. The input name will be Display Text.
