Hi SC Engineering, In some custom study I draw something on a chart with UseTool and set AddAsUserDrawnDrawing to true. When the chart with this study is duplicated I end up with two userdrawings on that chart. This is happening because the LineNumber for that study starts as zero on the new chart so the study draws a new drawing, and the original drawing is duplicated in the chart duplication process. The result is that I lose control of the duplicated drawing and this drawing also remains visible when the study is removed. Any tips to manage this? Kind regards, Frederik |

We assume this happens because you are saving the line numbers in persistent variables and those are cleared when a chart is duplicated. The only thing we can think is to store the line number in sc.StorageBlock. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
