Hello Sierra team Sorry for my bad English. I have a question about saving from a spreadsheet, For example, I choose "Spreadsheet System / Alert" as a study and then edit that spreadsheet and then save it and then exit. If I now want to open this saved spreadsheet for another chart or for the same chart, the saved spreadsheet is empty. Why, what am I doing wrong? I also selected the corresponding name in the study. But it did not work. However, if I open the saved spreadsheet, File / Open Spreadsheet, the correctly filled spreadsheet will be displayed. I have Sierra Chart Verson 1727 64-bit Thank you for your response. |

First, as you note, you need to make sure you are selecting the proper Spreadsheet when adding the study to the chart. To do this, follow the instructions here, specifically step 5: Using the Spreadsheet Study: Step By Step Instructions to use the Spreadsheet Study If you are using the same Spreadsheet Study for different charts, then by default, it will open a new Sheet within the spreadsheet for the new chart. The other charts information is still there, but it is in a different Sheet. You can find this information stated here: Working with Spreadsheets: Creating and Opening Spreadsheets Also refer to the following Input setting for which Sheet is being used by the Study for formulas: Spreadsheet Study Inputs: Formula Source Sheet Number Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. To save a configured Spreadsheet Study and use it on another chart, we recommend using a Study Collection which is thoroughly documented here: Spreadsheet Studies Special Tasks: Applying Configured Spreadsheet Study on Other Charts Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
