I upgraded to SC v961 and began experiencing general slowdown of my PC. From opening files to opening new browser's window and even flipping pages in a pdf document, all had to pause momentarily. After rebooting my PC and opening older SC v959, everything returned to normal - opening files & flipping pages were instantaneous. Is there something wrong with my system? Please help. I would also like to thank you for finally merging the forex Sunday & Monday daily bar. However, please check on the followings: 1. the merged bars are dated Sunday instead of Monday, and the next bar is dated Tuesday; so we have the Sunday & Tuesday bars but missing the Monday bar 2. the weekend gap is still not properly reflected in the merged bar, a good case in point will be the merged March-18 daily bar Thank you. |

Do you notice this problem with 961 after restarting your system? Does anyone else notice this specifically with version 961? 1, 2. This is how the data is. The data originates from FXCM and we cannot solve either of these. If you are not happy with the data, then do not use the FXCM data. You can use another source of data by selecting Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Historical Data Service Settings >>Use Sierra Chart Historical Data Service. I have upgraded to 963 but am still experiencing the slowdown. When I first turn on my computer and open SC, everything is fine. But after I close SC and open it again, the slowdown begins. Please help or if possible could we arrange a remote session, please? Thank you. |

Please find attached a chartbook as requested. However, please note that my system becomes unresponsive not when the first instance of SC is opened and running. It begins only after SC is closed. I first noticed this when I opened SC and did a version upgrade via Help|Download current version. After the close and re-opening of the upgraded SC, my system became unresponsive. From then on, whenever I close the first instance of SC opened, my system slows down. I would appreciate to have a remote session, I am normally available between 0800 - 1200 hours EST. Please advise. Thank you. |

When you notice this problem, go to the Windows Task Manager. Go to the Processes tab. What is the CPU usage of the SierraChart.exe process? How many CPU cores does your system have? If you select File >> Disconnect on the menu, does your system become more responsive? Every indication is this is somehow system specific. We do not have other reports of this. We do not observe any issues with this Chartbook and it is very simple. Do you use any spreadsheet studies?
