Are you still having difficulty connecting at this time? Select File >> Connect To Data Feed to try again. Do I have to have advanced charting enabled on my CTS account in order for Sierra to work?
No, you do not.Are you running any other firewall software on your computer? We did try connecting to the CTS Live FIX server. No you do not have to enable CTS charting. We apologize for the delay. We have checked on the port numbers. CTS specifies for FIX that the connection port is 10443 . We will see if 443 works. Can you check with your Internet service provider or if you are on a work network, whether they allow connections over port 10443. We have now tested port 443 and it cannot be used with a CTS FIX connection.

The clearing firm is alerted to this, and, if approved, will have to make physical changes to the network to open port 10443. This may take a bit of time. In the immediate term, is there a work around? Can I revert back to a non FIX release that would work with port 443, until the new port is opened? Would that cause any issues? Thank you for your help on this. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2013-10-03 13:12:13

I reverted back to version 997 and it connects. I followed the link for re loading the back up files and I am up and running until the FIX issue gets addressed. Thank you, again, for your help on this. Greatly appreciated. Cheers! |
