Having Problem with IB Options Symbol

Hi S.C. Support, I have difficulty pulling any option price from IB. I can view option price in TWS, however, I got errors and blank screen when I used the suggested symbol format to pull. I even copied one of the sample option symbol from the SC instruction "QQQ-OPT-20141219-50-C-SMART-100-USD" and still had no luck. Here is what shows in the log: Message from IB: Historical Market Data Service error message:Historical data request pacing violation. IB Error Code: 162. Request ID: 38. | 2013-09-24 20:40:21 HD Request # 26 - IB Backfill - Seconds requested: 10000. From the portion of the log that you have posted, it does not appear there is any problem with the option symbol itself, but rather you are getting "Pacing violations".
