Hello SC team, I'm not sure if it's already allowed to comment a non.net platform, but let here be the place where remarks, bugs, comments and suggestions will be placed until it officially be released. Remark: in a spreadsheet, formula entry window is too small. Some of my formulas have multiple lines. It will be uncomfortable to write formulas in this way. Is it possible to make it resizable or to have it on top like it was before? Suggestion: since you introduced up to 60 formula columns, in Spreadsheet System/Alert(Trading), options "Column K,L..V-Z Alert" are not sufficient. However columns above Z column alerting in case of TRUE... but there is no place where each column can be switch off. Up to me, it would be nice to have option "Column XXX Alert" connected to each Subgraph (you are already creating list of subgraphs dynamically as soon as user defined "Number of Formula Columns"). bug(?): in Spreadsheet System/Alert sometimes horizontal bar is missing, can't find explanation or reason for that. thanks for your service. The formula entry window has an arrow button to make it bigger but that is not implemented yet. It will support multiple lines. There will also be a formula bar at the top to view the formula. Not clear what horizontal bar you are referring to but check the Show options on the Spreadsheet menu. We will think about the alert settings. Regarding "horizontal bar", I meant Scroll Bar and, yes, Show option on the Spreadsheet menu solves the problem. Thank you |

just a thought: is it possible to see a chart loading time or/and study calculation time in a log file? for example in the following format: "chart #1 was read from the disk in 10.23 seconds, study "goLong" calculated 3000 lines/bars in 15.33 seconds" Another performance tuning idea: currently it's possible to recalculate a chart, once it's done, ALL studies with ALL formulas for this chart get recalculated. Do you have plans to do following: a) to allow to recalculate each speadsheet study individually b) to allow to recalculate each formula column individually I hit performance issue within my development; when I have many formulas in one spreadsheet study and I modify only one formula I must wait for the whole chart to be recalculated so to see the result. It would be nice to recalculate and depict only modified formulas. Thanks for hearing us. |

We currently are aware of a problem with spreadsheets in the non-CLR version causing high CPU usage with the Spreadsheet study. This has to do with the interaction with the spreadsheet graphical user interface. This will be solved hopefully this week. we cannot support these: a) to allow to recalculate each speadsheet study individually
b) to allow to recalculate each formula column individually Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
