Hi I have been trading forex, equities and indicies for 4 years. Confident with my trading strategies just not with retail brokers. Trying to move from OTC brokers to futures brokers. I have got a demo account up and running on Sierra Charts and have a broker called Optimus (which have not answered any questions I have had so I will be moving elsewhere) and a data feed through CTS T4. It seems a lot more confusing than a retail brokerage as you have a lot of different fees you have to pay to different companies. From what I can see I need to fund - Sierra Charting software for a monthly subscription. - A data feed, either through sierra charts or an external feed. - Then you will have your brokerage commission and fees which is also through someone else. - Then possibly a clearing house (unsure about this as it's not part of OTC brokers), also through someone else. So all up you could have 4 different monthly subscriptions to pay to different companies just to be able to get a live account up and running. Out of all this I'm still unsure how I go about funding these aspects. Any help please? |

It is not this complicated at all. You just need to pay for Sierra Chart. And the data feed will be provided by the trading platform service through the broker. All the other fees are paid through your trading account with the broker. We can help you with paying for Sierra Chart. The instructions are here: Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Renewing Access Your broker can help you with all other fees. If you did want to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed which is optional, that is paid through your Sierra Chart account: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#Pricing Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
