Hi I have been trading forex, equities and indicies for 4 years. Confident with my trading strategies just not with retail brokers. Trying to move from OTC brokers to futures brokers. I have got a demo account up and running on Sierra Charts and have a broker called Optimus (which have not answered any questions I have had so I will be moving elsewhere) and a data feed through CTS T4. It seems a lot more confusing than a retail brokerage as you have a lot of different fees you have to pay to different companies. From what I can see I need to fund - Sierra Charting software for a monthly subscription. - A data feed, either through sierra charts or an external feed. - Then you will have your brokerage commission and fees which is also through someone else. - Then possibly a clearing house (unsure about this as it's not part of OTC brokers), also through someone else. So all up you could have 4 different monthly subscriptions to pay to different companies just to be able to get a live account up and running. Out of all this I'm still unsure how I go about funding these aspects. Any help please? |
