SC DTC Data - Error getting address info for ds4.sierracharts.com.

the SC message log won't minimize...keeps throwing connection error.

In regards to this, start the Windows command prompt, let us know if you need help with that, and enter this command:
ipconfig /flushdns

running that command results in the following error response

just fyi...I'm currently running a VPN, as well as a few other trading applications
and I'm still getting the same SC DTC Data error in the Message Log

This issue is outside the scope of our support.

You will need to do your own research on this.

also...just FYI...this is a new~ish PC.

I just installed windows 7 onto a new hard drive, and then copied the SC folder from my old hard drive onto the new one (the whole folder, which was about 70 GB). I'm not sure if that makes a difference...but maybe...
