I use all three of the Moving Averages available in the SC study. If I want different parameters for an alert for each of the lines, do I write each of the rules in the one alert on the study, or is there another way to do this? Thanks

You just need to use one Alert formula within the study itself.

So I can only write one formula within the study? If each MA is to have a different formula would I activate 3 separate MA studies and then use one line per study, writing the alert formula for each separate study? Thanks

Each study will support one formula. That formula can make reference to other studies on the chart. We really do not know what your requirements are for the formula. It's best you understand how Alert Formulas work and make your own determinations. That is the best way. Here is the documentation for Alerts: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_AlertCondAndScan.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. One concept to understand is that if you require an Alert Condition which involves multiple studies, then you will put it on one of the studies and that formula through Study Subgraph identifiers (Example: ID2.SG1) will make reference to the other studies.
