sound alerts on time and sales don't work properly, I've tried clearing the sound queue to no avail. Only works once in a while

Do you see the Alert Messages in Window >> Alerts Manager >> Alerts Log, when you expect a sound alert to be played?

Very few compared to what the T&S alert calls for, it only works sparsely.

Make sure you have set both Bid Trade Alert and Ask Trade Alert to a setting other than No Alert Sound. And review the documentation for the settings here to understand fully how they work:

From our perspective this is next to impossible to understand because we do not know the settings you have on the Time and Sales window.

We have no reason to believe there is any problem and we definitely do not believe that.

Provide a screenshot of the Time and Sales Settings window. It can be attached here. And provide us a clear example of a particular line in the Time and Sales window that do you expect would provide an alert and explain why it should provide an alert relative to the settings and the documentation.

This is not what we need and there is no way we can help with this without the information requested in post #6 above.

The first thing we want you to do is to update to the latest release of Sierra Chart and see if you still have the problem because there have been changes with Time and Sales Alerts which may resolve the issue.
