Cannot stay connected to CQG data feed through

Hello,

I have worked with the tech support rep at AMP Futures and they recommend I contact Sierra Charts direction. I am having trouble staying connected to CQG data feed. The connection worked fine for about a month and now will not stay connected. It constantly connects/disconnects/connects. I have sent my Message Log for analysis and have referenced this post.

Clearly there is an issue between your computer and the CQG server. Whether it is on your side or the CQG side we do not know. Although we do have other reports of users having trouble with connections to CQG in the last few days. There is nothing that we can do about this.

It might help for you just to use the CQG web API server. You can choose that service through Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service. Choose "CQG Web API".

I switched to the Web API connection and the issue seems to have resolved. However, the Web API setting does not seem to remain the default on bootup. How can I make it the default?

Log into this Support Board with the account you are using with Sierra Chart. You can do this with Help >> Support Board.

How often it was disconnecting? I having few disconnects as well but nothing extreme...
Also I did switch to comps time, will go back to server time, may be makes the difference.
