Sierra chart has been working fine since installation in October 2015 until I upgraded to version 1488 on Saturday night. After the installation I get a windows popup windows with the message on the title of this post. I had installed previous versions of sierra chart and I don't get the dtcbridge error window but I am not able to connect neither and the program automatically ask me to upgrade to the latest version. I would really appreciate your help in resolving this issue. Sincerely Rafael |

We cannot solve this. This is due to a Rithmic API software compatibility issue with Vista. The minimum operating system supported is Windows 7. This is stated very clearly here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Rithmic.php You must get off of Vista. Or go back to the previous version of Sierra Chart: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php#Rollback But you are taking a chance running Rithmic on Vista. Thank you for the feedback. I was looking for the answers in sierra chart but I did not think the issue will be with Rithmic since I was only getting the data. I have not choice but too buy a laptop with windows 10.
