Hi, I forgot to add funds to my account and my SC real time data and the exchanges expired. I added funds and reactivated data feed and exchanges but do not have chart data just blank screens. I deleted and downloaded new data but still nothing. Thanks

There is network work being done currently these particular servers. That should be finished in about an hour.

At that time simply connect to the data feed with File >> Connect to Data Feed.

Hi, It seems like I don't have data for ES, all the other instruments work. Es was the only one I deleted and downloaded for new data. Thanks

Hi, I am sending a copy of the message log.

We see two problems.

You are using Gain Capital symbols and connecting to the SC Data - All Services service. These services use different symbols.

Refer to help topic 1.3:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails1.php#h1.3

You are also using an older version and attempting to connect to Gain Capital. You must update to the current version. Follow these instructions:

I am getting the same problems. I have a tab (sheet) for metals. All the charts are blank.
At first, it would not connect at all.
Then, I read that others were having the same problem and if using GAIN capital we should update to the latest version (server addresses have changed, or something).
Having updated I can connect but the charts have gone blank

(here is a piece of the message log)

Is this related to the new version?
Or, to a new Package 5 evaluation (which I did not request)?

I'm at a loss.
None of my open positions are being pulled in either.

Update:
I am now getting the data. So the charts are populating.
However, my open positions are still not showing as they usually do.
Is there a setting I need to change (after the update) to import the positions from GAIN Capital?
It has worked automatically for years so I'm a little surprised.
(Sorry I sent this same message on another thread by mistake!)

If you are not seeing the correct Trade Positions or not at all, then refer to:

Thank-you. This is helpful.
I think I understand what is going on but I don't know how to fix it.

The positions tab shows contracts ending in single digits.. Year = "6" (for example, GSIZ6).
The charts (with attached Trade DOM) have the same symbol as ending in "16" (for example, GSIZ16).
I tried to change the chart symbol to GSIZ6 (directly in Chart Settings and also in the scrolling menu in Edit Global Symbol Settings window) but when I hit Apply it went back to GSIZ16.
What should I be doing differently?
(Data/Trade Service settings are Gain Capital/OEC)
