Some of the number bars have black entries for comparison what does this mean and how do I get rid of it?

This is what we see when using the Sierra Chart Historical Data service for that symbol: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1464286733656.png Follow through the instructions here to use the Sierra Chart Historical Data Service: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartHistoricalData.php#UsingSCHDS When that is done, go to that chart you posted an image of and re-download the data with Edit >>Delete All Data and Download and let us know if it changes. You really should configure the chart like we do so you can see clearly the volume at each price level. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Although we realize the volume profiles you are showing on the Numbers Bars are based upon the Ask Volume Bid Volume difference. In that case, if those two values are about the same, you will see no volume bar.

ok so to sum up if the bars are black the ask/bid vol percentage is roughly the same. Is that correct?

As long as there is volume data at that price level, the answer should be yes. However, you are best able to answer this question yourself because you know the Study Settings and you know what data is in the chart. We do not know either of these.

Are you sure about that? We see that you have been using TD Ameritrade. We set this chart to show the difference between the Ask volume and Bid volume both as numbers and horizontal bars at each price level and we see no blank price levels: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1464473841235.png And we do not know how you have configured the Numbers Bars study. That is an extremely complex study with numerous options. Also make certain that you have a tick by tick data configuration: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_TickbyTickDataConfiguration.php Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
