Hello, I am running into a problem that I have not been able to resolve, maybe you can help me, I am running a scanner on a daily time frame using historical data from SC. Even thought the chart is updated to today's data when running the scanner it only takes the previous day data not today's data. So my question is at what time should a run a scanner for today's data, do I have to update each data file on the stock list before running the scan or how do I do that. The second question is, I have the scanner with a signal that is given on bar close but the signals for today do not appear unless I put that is NOT on bar close. I am a user of Sierra and I have look thorough a lot of documentation but this one beats me! Thanks in advanced! Patricia |

There are several solutions to this. We think the easiest and immediate solution is to use an Intraday chart set to Daily bars: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_SessionTimes.php#CreatingDailyBarsCustomSessionTimes The second question is, I have the scanner with a signal that is given on bar close but the signals for today do not appear unless I put that is NOT on bar close.
