There are several solutions to this.

We think the easiest and immediate solution is to use an Intraday chart set to Daily bars:

The second question is, I have the scanner with a signal that is given on bar close but the signals for today do not appear unless I put that is NOT on bar close.
Yes, this does make sense. There will have to be a new bar for the next day in order for there to be an evaluation of the prior bar.
