See image attached; Send Orders To Trade Service (Yes), Auto-trading Enabled, and Simulation Mode "unchecked" but ...on getting signal, no order is sent to account yet the chart indicates like/as if a position was created; below is what I have in data/trade service settings

When using FXCM FIX Trading with an account opened in the United States, CFD contracts cannot be traded. They simply are not allowed under the law in the US.

FXCM's system should have rejected the order but apparently it just has not responded to the order and that is why it remains in an "Order Sent" state. Although maybe you have to increase the quantity to 10 or higher. Probably 1 is below the limit. But still the system should have rejected the order.

If your account has been opened from outside the US you can trade those.

Yes, we now realize what the problem is. We did not pay close enough attention to the connection details.

However, we realize your Sender Comp ID is not set correctly.

Go to Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings. Set the Sender Comp ID to:
7000301643_client1

FXCM should never have given you a sender comp ID that begins with MD_. That is a market data ID. You need a trading sender comp ID.

I've removed MD_ and worked with just Sender Comp ID: 7000301643_client1 but the problem persisted;

Too, my sierrachart account/platform now bears these quasi/false positions (that weren't sent to the trade service) how do I get rid of them?

To clear the orders that are in an "Order Sent" date select Trade >> Refresh Trade Data from Service.

Were you able to connect to FXCM using the Sender Comp ID without MD_?
