SC, is it possible to connect independent orders into an OCO? Secondly, I was in the process of adjusting my price target at which time my target was hit right before clicking the confirmation window and as soon as I hit the confirmation window a second order had been placed causing me a second long position which I then had to market order out resulting in a loss. It was strange, because it all happened so very fast.

It is not possible to connect existing working orders into an OCO group if they are not already. Also when modifying an order, if it fills before the modification is completed and the modification is sent after, it will not result in a new order. This Trade Activity log shows simulated trading and in trade simulation mode, it is not possible for what you describe to happen. This log: Order 2015-10-14 13:29:56.001 [Sim]GC-201512-NYMEX Simulated order modify complete 18675 18675 Stop 1 Buy 1187.8 Open Sim1 Open 1

can only tell you what happened. I entered no other order or did anything which would have caused another order to be entered and considering the fact the position quantity went to 2 seems strange in itself.

When an order fills, obviously the position quantity will change by the quantity of the fill. We did not see another order being entered at the time of the order modification. Do you see that in the Trade Activity Log? You will see a line that has "user order entry" in it for a new order. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I have found no line indicating "User order entry" for the second contract. I will also state this has happened on various occasions.

We are not totally clear what is happening because we cannot see exactly what you're doing and what is happening. However, possibly the information here about the Simulation Fills Source setting might be related to the problem: Feature Removal: Simulation Fills Source Setting Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
