Custom Text Drawing# commands

Could you please add a keyboard shortcut command for the "Custom Text Drawing" tool that would allow one to switch to Previous/Next "Text Drawing#"? The tool concept itself is very handy, especially for Elliott Wave labeling, but its usefulness is severely hampered by the strict linearity and inflexibility resulting from the lack of such a command. Right now, I can't efficiently "skip through" Text Drawing# until I get the label I want, but I have to place every single label up to the desired one, deleting each as I do (which can take some time as I have 90 labels configured). Nor am I able to go back one or more steps in case an error was made, or if I just wish to place a text label from a previous config#. Instead I'm forced to start all over again to get to that point. The addition of this small but vital function would transform the tool for the better and make it a lot more practical to use, so I hope you guys can consider it. Thanks. |

In the next version, you will be able to add short cuts for all custom text chart drawings in addition to two new entries for Next/Previous Custom Text Drawing Tool. The Next function will walk the next drawing links if specified, and otherwise fall back to linear advancement thru the tools. The previous function will try to find the previous tool in the next drawing links, but if there are multiple entries pointing to the current tool, the first linked tool in the list is selected. If no linked tool is found, then it will move back thru the tools in reverse order. |
