Remove or disable the anti-malware software. This error is caused by a custom study you are using which is causing a problem and needs to be recompiled for the current version of Sierra Chart: Repeating the loading process because the chart parameters changed.

Thanks. I turned off (temporarily) my anti-virus. Restarted charts, no change. Followed the instructions with the DLL backup. When I restarted charts, it added the HindsightTrading.DLL back to the data library with today's time stamp. However, I noticed that it was a different size file than the one in the backup directory. The backup is dated 2.8/2013 and is 71kb. The replaced one is 66kb. Baffled. |

There is no need to restore the HindsightTrading.dll file from the backup folder. It will be automatically downloaded. We can tell what the problem is now. We called and you had already resolved the problem by deleting and reinstalling Sierra Chart. It just occurred to us the why you still continued to have this problem even after following our instructions in regards to the DLL files. Probably the Tick Size was incorrect on the charts that were reloading. If you go to those charts and select Chart >> Chart Settings and press the Apply Global Symbol Settings button and then press OK, that would resolve the problem. Thanks for the call, really appreciate the effort and customer service. I was just finishing up the complete reinstall install. I figured it out. It only happens when I open a chartbook with NKD in it. If I close that chartbook, it stops. That chartbook is attached. |

Now, I took you latest advice and Applied Global Symbol Settings. Once all charts in that chartbook were reapplied, it stopped. Thanks SO much for the patience and advice. Lesson learned from this effort. Thanks so much, Mike |
