Is there any way to set a margin on the right side of a chart so the bars aren't going to line showing prices?

I have an indicator from another program (NT)that shows the HOL of a bar that I would like to use - a friend said he'd script it for SC. However, if I can't have a static right margin, it would be a waste of time as it fits next to the bar.

Also double checking this issue. I followed directions for getting rid of messages like "2TargetsWithBEStop" on my Chart Trade window. Directions said to delete it so I did. Is that ok? I deleted all three of them since I'll never use any of the three.

I don't know what I did to get that to show up. It hadn't been there and then it was. I'm new so must have done something.

Regards,
Sharon

Got it. Thanks.

Question now is will I be able to place the indicator in the dead space (within the margin)?

You may not know this answer. Need to ask though because to rework an indicator for SC is time consuming for the person if it won't work.

Are you planning to place a second subgraph indicator in there, or just something like a piece of text/icon?

Sorry, I don't know what a subgraph indicator is. However it looks like this for a 5 Range bar. It would be located on the right side of the bar. It moves to each new bar:

H 1.1400
O 1.1403
L 1.1405

I think if it doesn't work in the margin, then the bars would run into it. At least, that makes sense. Maybe. :-)

It just occurred to me that I can send you a copy of the script if that would be helpful. ? I mean, it would be in a different, but you might be able to tell better.

BTW, not unethical as it's mine. I paid for it to my specifications of what I wanted.

I can't guarantee that I will see the answer, but I can give it a shot if you would like. I've been studying this SC code for months now. I've got a lot of it down, but not everything.

How do I send it to you? Find SC email and put your name in the subject? I copied the script in a word document.

Cool that you'd try it. :-) Take your time.

Regards.
Sharon

P.S. Keep in mind it's in NT code, But you most likely would understand it.

Well, if you don't want it to be public, I'll give you my email address. If you are ok with anyone on the board seeing it, hit the Edit Attached Files button below your reply field.

No, I don't mind sharing. Maybe someone here would like to go ahead and make the indicator for SC. And me. :-)

Hope I do this right. It's long.

Yes this is OK.
