I have vs 1220 I have a chart that I only load one day. The session times are RTH. The open is important to me. The problem is that when I have my charts open at say 15 minutes before the RTH open, it obviously has the prior day showing because that IS the one day to Load. When 9:30 (EST) rolls around, it won't automatically switch (update) to the current (one day load) day. So I have to disconnect from the feed, then connect at 9:30:01 for it to load the proper chart. As you can see it can cause missed timing, not to mention anxiety in it reconnecting. Is this something that I can change with settings? Or should this be a request to add to the charts? Thanks. |

So you are saying the chart is not updating in real-time when it should? Or there is more than one day in the chart when the new day begins.

when I have the charts open, say today at 9:15am EST, it will have Fridays RTH loaded because I have the "Chart settings>days to load" set at "1". Come 9:30:01 and on, nothing changes. I would assume that it would change to today automatically at 9:30:01 since the parameters are "1" day load. But I have to dis-connect and re-connect for it to load today. If this is confusing, I would imagine the only way to see what I'm talking about is to replicate it real time. Without waiting until the am tomorrow. I would imagine it could be done with one day loaded but change the session time to five minutes from now and see if it automatically loads today up (ie: session time= 14:20 to 15:00).Because one day would be the load, Friday for that time would be loaded, but will it change to today at 14:20?. This is just an example and may have confused more :P |

So you are saying at 9:30:01 even though the market opens at that time you do not see any updates in the chart? If a data feed reconnect resolves this problem, it would indicate a problem with the data feed. We see you are using TransAct, so please contact them about the problem. We ran through your suggested test just now and the chart did update when the starting time was encountered and a trade occurred after that.
